    Fuel pump from Petrol and Diesel Disco's interchangeable?

    Hi everybody.

    I'm putting an original fuel tank back in my 1996 Discovery 1 Petrol V8 after having bought it with an LPG system.

    Does anybody know if the fuel pump in the diesel tank is exactly the same as the one in the petrol tank? I've sourced a tank but it's off a diesel Discovery and I need to know if I can use it

    the Tdi diesel (Unlike the Td5) has no intank pump. just unscrew and remove the diesel pickup and gauge unit, and fit the petrol one. the tanks are the same.
