have a look into Turner Engineering
Hi,
I need to rebuild the bottom end of a 300TDi, including a new crank. Does anyone know of a good place to source parts?
Thanks,
Ian.

I have priced up parts fro the UK, including Turners (currently best price including shipping). Was hoping to find someone local that didn't think multiplying part prices by 10 was acceptable...
Why are we so ripped off here??!!
Any suggestions?
Prices are higher for various reasons not the least of which is tax.
Supply and demand comes into play. A retailer over there can afford to keep a large inventory as they have good turnover as lots of LR on the road. Here that's not the case as demand is much lower relatively speaking.
Also bricks and mortar businesses are more expensive to run than on-line ones.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Vlad, Turners are bricks and mortar but in the UK, they still have overheads.
Its a matter of supply and demand, in the UK there are a lot more Landy's on the road so turn over is higher for parts.

Unlikely to beat the UK prices, but have you tried Karcraft? I find their prices reasonable by Australian standards.
