When she gets a tad wet, i lose my tacho temporarily

    Hey guys,

As the title says, when im going through the odd water crossing, i temporarily lose the operation of my tacho, usually only for a matter of seconds, can anyone shed some knowledge on this please?

Also i am chasing some wheel nuts to replace my burred lock nuts and im having a fair amount of trouble finding some, help please?

    Thankyou in advance

Your tacho runs off the alternator. Either the alternator is being drowned or the wet belt is slipping. No big deal.

Triumph Rover Spares (Adelaide, ph (08) 8384 6933) or any other LR wrecker will no doubt sell you some wheel nuts.

worst case its the winding that the tacho is feeding off of suffering from a open or short circuit diode.
