Are the springs marked Left or Right side, some spring makers (Lovells) make the spings to suit each corner and are marked accordingly, to compensate for drivers weight and battery, Regards Frank.
I have just purchased a new set of red (180lbs 16.5 inch) springs for the front of my 300tdi disco and purple orange (220lb 18inch) springs for the rear. I took measurements before(drivers side sagging 40mm more than passenger) and measurements after (drivers side still lower than passenger, 20mm now) is it normal for the drivers side to be lower (so I guess heavier) than the passenger side. All measurements have been taken on a flat surface with the car unloaded.
Measure from ground to highest section of wheel arch.
Before
Rear left - 899mm
Rear right -860
Front left - 824
Front right - 784
After (new springs)
Rear left -900mm
Rear right -880
Front left -864
Front right 849
Were these the right springs for my car, upfront have arb barwork and that's all
The rear is unloaded ATM but will normally carry around 150kg also installed Firestone airbags.
Any opinions or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds a bit suss to me, my lovells were all different sizes but once fitted and loaded the vehicle was as level as you could get it, Regards Frank.
