Thread: need help please 1994 three door

had to remove the window glass and frame from a mates 94 three door drivers side to replace the door latch with a new one, putting it back together, the window wont go up straight. it drags the front of the window and only goes up evenly with help in the form of a push. it all seemed to go back together correctly,m and I didnt have a problem doing the same job on all the doors on my 5 door 95 disco. any ideas, it seems kinda like there is alot of play in the lifting mechanism but it worked perfectly before removal.

It sounds like the small arm bit of the mechanism is buggered this is what
keeps the window level during operation, same thing happened to mine when I lifted the mechanism in my disco with the window out just crushed that arm but would still go up and down with some help to keep it level
