I'll have a look and see if I can find dimensions, but I just went through this and ended up moving my PAS reservoir. I had an 80AH capacity battery without moving it and I couldn't find any 100AH ones that would fit without moving the PAS reservoir.
/searches for dimensions

OK, it's coming back to me now...
Width and height were not a problem for most 100AH batteries. It is the length that seemed to be the problem.
My 80AH was pretty close to the max length which was ~270mm without moving the PAS.
Then I discovered that there appeared to be a "standard length" of about 12". Almost all the 100AH batteries were between 306-308mm length, which is close enough to 12". You need to move the PAS for this.
I would be very surprised if you can find a battery that's greater than 80AH and make it fit without moving the PAS. For small variations in the 80AH range, just do a rough tape measure job and you should be fine.
Something to consider: Are you installing a isolator/separator as well? You need to fit that somewhere. Mine is also in the 2nd battery space.

I have a Delkor DC24 which is a deep cycle 70 AH, "N50ZZ size" - L275mm x W172mm x H229mm.
My isolator is bolted on plate above coil, yes it's a petrol

i've got an Exide N70EX which is a tight fit but just goes in without moving the PS reservoir.

I moved the PS reservoir abou eight years ago to the rear fire wall by extending the pipes with brass joiners and the appropiate type hose, cost about $20 all up. I have never had a problem other than nipping up the pipe clamps which is a normal check for the reservoir it self. For the additional battry size it is well worth it and can be changed back if you want to later

My D1 300Tdi has an NS70 as the main battery (drivers side), N70 wont fit as aircon pipes in the way. NS70 will fit with room to spare on the passenger side and not moving reservoir. This way both batts can be identical, good if main battery fails as they can be swapped over.
