I'd personally have a look into those intercooler\turbo hoses as well, they are a fairly common issue and easy enough to check (squeeze test or pop them off and have a quick look inside). Checking will only cost you a few minutes and replacing them with silicon hoses isn't all that expensive (around the $100 mark for a set specifically made for your engine).
Just my two cents.

also check the hose coming out of the intercooler into the engine, mine had a little split in it and all the boost pressure went away, if you can hear a hissing under acceleration it might just be that, cheap fix if you're lucky.

Could it be the hose that goes from the back of the injector pump to the turbo. Its a thin hose that somehow tells the injector pump when to increase fuel. I had a crack in mine once and it was way down on power until I found it!!
