I don't recall the genuine item from Triumph Rover Spares at Lonsdale being that exxie when I bought one a couple of years ago. Ask to speak to Phil.
The LAND ROVER bonnet decal was looking a bit tatty so I got the Wifes hair dryer out and a window scaper and off it came.
Now I need a new one. OEM are expensive and I saw a few other options on UK ebay.
There raised ones look ok but not sure how they would look or if the curves are suitable on a D1 as they are listed for D3/4 or Defender.

Anyone tried different decals than OEM?
I was also considering one of the humorous ones such as STRANGE ROVER, however i don't want to offend the old girl as she might break down on me again

Thanks Dullbird,
Looks good, did you buy the raised letters locally or overseas?
Cheers
Mark
