Thread: Bumper for Disco with LEDs

Actually that looks pretty good.
If you like it, go for it (but I still prefer black )

I like the skid plate. And the blacked out grill, I've skyways thought about going to a D2 grill for similar effect.

I am actually thinking of painting the bumper either while or dark silver to give it more punch.

Some will probably ask why not just go straight for ARB bumper, but there are not large animals crossing the road where I live, (maybe some fat people), and I did this for 1/8 of the ARB cost.

Here are pics of the skid plate. We actually made a frame from a one inch pipe , attached the frame to the chasis and then attached the plate in front. That way the plate is very long and it protects the steering rods. You can also take it off by unscrewing the 6 bolts from the front. (The treads are in the pipe frame.)

So havent had a chance to play with the paint on the bumper, but here is my new accessory a Roof Half-Rack, tread here.
