    1996 TDI manual tachometer no go

    Hi crew. I have a Tdi and the tachometer doesn't work. Any tips on where to start looking?

    the sender on the back of the alternator is where i would start-make sure the wire is plugged in

    Same here start at the tacho feed on alt. Was it working then stopped or never worked?

    Picked up the disco tonight. This one is going to need a bit of work to save it.
