My apologies if this info already appears in another thread but I thought it worth sharing.
I have just replaced the thrust bearing on the top swivel pin of a 97 model fitted with ABS. To cut a long story short these bearings were not available at all the usual local suppliers for LR spares in my area and the bearing details were also "not available".After a less than satisfying experience with the local LR dealership who after 3 phone calls could not even find a reference to the part I contacted a bearing company.
With some great help from CBC bearings we were able to match them from the remnants of the old bearing to the following numbers (per side)-

AXK1730 Needle roller bearing (x1) $3.95 each
AS1730 Thrust washers (x2) $1.50 each

Hopes this helps others out as I searched for info on many threads with no luck.
