I have some on stock alloys, (+33) they fit fine, and I don't think you will need flares, just an angle grinder, dolly and hammer![]()
Anyone running 285/75's on stock D1 steel rims, these would only be play tyres and not dailies .I have a 3" lift and soon have flares but wondering about inner guard clearance.

Ah but you will be doing bush mechanics anyway. Which/what flares?
If your going to do some serious off roading then you will need to trim some panels even with a 3" lift. Or the 33's will rub and that will in turn limit your suspension travel and wreck the tyres.
Mine has a 2" body lift and 2" suspension lift and lots of trimming of panels.

Flexi's, managed to get a set locally. Ideally i want to get a set of dynamics with +25 offset but the D1 steels will have to do for now.
Terry, been running the 3" lift for a few years now with 265/70's and not had any inner guard scrubbing - 33's will if i dont get offset rims but will deal with that later.

Pardon my ignorance but are you talking about 16" or 15" rims?
Cheers,
