Thread: Fuel and Temp Guage Shenanigans

Hey all,

The guages in my 93 D1 do funny things, when im going around a left hand bend they both go up a needle thickness or 2 and when im going around right hand bend they both go down the same amount, anybody else experience this

Check all the earths are correctly attached and no corrosion on the battery clamps. After a service I had a problem with the temp guage going all over the place on a flat road, going up when going round a corner, dropping after the corner, going up when the indicators were on. Took the car back to the service place and they found one of the earths was loose, prob dislodged during the service. Also the battery clamps had lots of corrosion. After fixing, no more problems with the termp guage.
