    window relays

    Can anyone tell me if the disco 1 tdi have a relay for the rear windows? if so where are they located, I have done the dry joint job on the ecu to no avail, someone might have some more information please.

    Hey mate,

    No offence, but there is literally hundreds of threads relating to rear window issues. In the last month alone I can see at least 4 threads. There is one, last part around 05/07/13, there is heaps of info in that. A quick search using the bottom search function (not the one on the to right, it's useless) will yield heaps of threads. Go through a few of them. If you are still having issues after trying the half a dozen or more fixes, then let us know what you have tried and on what order and someone will be able to provide you with some suggestions on where to look next.

    Thanks for your info re search I was not aware there was a search area there I have always used the other search area.i would still like to know if their is a separate relay for the rear windows?

    The relay is on the same board as the fronts. I have a dead unit at the moment trying to source a better replacement relay.

    To be honest I'm not sure, It's a black box, which is all I was given. There's an individual relay for each front window but a common one for the rear, which is the issue. As for where it is, maybe try RAVE?
