A 94 D1 should be 24 spline diff. There are plenty of options. Search Truetrac, detroit, and Ashcroft on here for info on each. A lot of people import them direct from the US and UK.

Have a look for the post from Lucky 8 from the US on here as he is offering some deals from time to time.

The only 28 spline I've ever come across in a landrover is Early maxi-drive HD axles(I have one in the rear of my disco)

Fronts for discoveries as far as i know are
CV 32 Diff Center 10 (early)
    CV 32 Diff Center 24
    Rears
Flange 24 Diff Center 10 (early)
    Flange 24 Diff Center 24

I have a similar issue on my 110 except I know I have the 10 spline on the diff end

My plan assuming it could be done would be to buy the 24 spline locker as you would only be keeping the crown and pinion from your existing center anyway the side gears get replaced by the locker.

Just budget a bit more incase it turns out you do have 10 spline on the diff center end and need new axles

    I agree with Gary.

I got a quote from Lucky8 on Tuesday, and the ATB is $488USD delivered... So is that now about $520AUD?

I already have a rear air-locker (ashcroft) and I am getting an ATB for the front. The beauty of the ATB which you will find after doing some research, is that it is a 'soft-locker' and the result is it is forgiving on your drive train.

    Anyway just a thought.

    Cheers, Adam.
