    First time Disco Owner

Hey guys I've just joined this site. I have just recently got a 92 disco 2.5 TD 5 speed 4 door, I was wondering is there any tweaks or bolt on mods to make the old girl a little bit more responsive and crisper. It's still miles better then any 2.8 Hilux I ever drove but a little bit sluggish compared to my old Rangie classic with the 3.5 V8. I know the diesel will never be a power house but I love the economy. Thanks all.

Certainly is, tweak the injection pump, larger intercooler, variable nozzle turbo, larger exhaust etc- depends on your wallet.

    Welcome Terroy32
I was happy with the performance jump from just the pump tweak alone (changed turbo hose's for silicon ones at the same time).
I had a test hill on the freeway that I could only achieve 83KMH foot to floor but 1 hour later I could hit 107KMH after I tweaked the pump Only issue is the EGT's climbed to dangerous levels so highly recommended to fit an EGT gauge if you are going to play with the pump settings. Driving by the Pyro the Yanks call it
Check out this link for Thermoguards instructions on pump tweaking.
