Mine was mounted to the alternator bolt, see picture. I don't think mounting it to the radiator would be any hotter than the engine. May even be a bit cooler as air flow transfers the heat away. Anywhere under the bonnet is hot on a Disco.

Hi all,
Ok so im going to put a third battery in this time under the bonnet I know I have to move the PS reservoir and thats no problem but all the ones ive seen had it located against the top radiator hose, would this not cause heat to be transferred to the power steering fluid,
Or is it not a problem
