Meanwhile, try a capfull of brake fluid in the reservoir, if you haven't already.![]()
'91 v8 ZF power steering pump is leaking. Are they rebuildable? What's another (changeover) worth?
Cheers.

Not sure if it softens the seals or swells them up a bit, but if the leak isn't too bad, it will give you a bit of breathing room.
If it's the one which looks like a can of beans with a large hex nut on the side to receive one of the lines, then I have rebuilt mine to an extent. There's a service kit available, but the one supplied to me had about 6 seals in it - one of the two I needed and 5 others which were obviously for something completely different. The offending seal was the large one which seals the inside of the tin housing.
Messy but simple job to fix. I'm glad the shaft seal wasn't leaking because I couldn't get the flange off to replace it and I don't think one of the 5 other seals was the right size anyhow!
Can vouch for the "Brake Fluid" trick. Been doing his for years and haven't bothered with a box rebuild. Every couple of years just put in 40-50 ml and leak takes up a treat. I posted this hint here years ago and am still using it.
