    QD32 best alternative option

After some research, I think the Nissan QD32T is the most suitable option for conversion. Exhaust pipe on the pass side, not so heavy, better tourque/power output than 300tdi but not adding on too much pressure on R380.

Not sure the MD adapter for TD27 suits it. Also the pass side starter motor also can be problematic.

    Any suggestionsn thoughts.

If I can source a cheap enough donor engine, I might try it out later.

Indirect injection means hard starts in the cold, higher fuel consumption, lower power and weaker heads.

Go direct injection or don't bother imo.

    Nope.
Zd30 is the direct injection version of the same engine.
    Qd32 is just a big td27.
