Thread: Viscous Fan

OK, so I finally sold my soul and purchased a coil sprung Landy. It needs some work, mostly moderate to minor things and a few things that are not working, replaced. Which leads me (finally) to my question, what is the difference between the 1993 3.5 EFI and the 1993 3.9 EFI viscous fan clutch ? I have a 1993 3.9 and it would seem that the fan clutch is on the way out. Daughters partner has a 1993 3.5 EFI with a spare, brand new fan and clutch. This afternoon we tried the spare 3.5 fan and it bolted straight up to the 3.9, so is there any reason why I can not use the 3.5 fan ? ? ?
