    i plan on rebuilding the bottom end, replacing the Cam and putting an EFI system on it, so it looks like il have to replace the heads with later ones, thats easy enough.. thanks

    Well I stuck a '91 disco efi manifold onto an ' 87 rangy 3.5(9.35:1) and it worked fine

    Well I picked up the engine, doesn't look like its been out if action too long, its a 12/82 build date with a 14d engine number 9.35:1 CR, pulled the manifold and SU's off and it looked pretty good under the Valley gasket, the heads come off next to see what the tops of the pistons look like, from the cam lobes I could see I didnt see any wear at all, but its gotta be changed anyway.
