    Dying Disco

My '95 V8 Auto has problems.
There is a loud ticking and chuffing sound from the back of the engine and it is very hard to start. Once started it will run for a few minutes then stall.
Once it gets a bit warm it stalls quicker every time, only running for 10 secs or so.
I have attached a video of the noise (i hope)
    Any idea's???

Just sounds like loose exhaust manifold to me. But whether that has or can have anything to do with stalling I don't know. But what a great idea vid with sound.

There's a misfire in there too.

It sounds like a very bad exhaust leak but I would put my money on a head gasket failure causing the noise & misfire.

Thanks guys, the sound was the exhaust manifold, easy fixed.
It isn't running right, takes ages to start then runs rough, with an intermitant miss. The RACV guy thinks it is the lpg module, although it runs bad on both fuels.

Check that the IAC valve plate on the back of the plenum chamber has not come loose, there are 3 allen head bolts to check. Also check that the vacuum hoses from the throttle body and the fuel pressure regulator to the IAC valve are fitted properly and not sucking air, Regards Frank.
