Thread: will D2 Shock Turrets fit on a D1?

Ive had a search on here with no luck so im popping the question and asking if anyone knows if a d2 front shock Turret/cone will fit on a d1? im due some new front shocks and i really dont like the design of the fronts (always spinning when you try to tighten/loosen them) the holes in mine have worn larger so its either weld a new plate on or replace the design so i can use a shock the same as the rear.

Is the hole pattern of the retaining ring the same on both cars?

Any thoughts/experiences?

If they suit the replacement shocks, yes they will fit. they are the same bolt pattern and the same height (250mm)
