    Hot water on my feet

    D1 3.9 V8 1997 Se7

OK driving back from the long weekend I had a sensation of hot water dripping on my left foot! In fact there was boiling water entering the footwell from ... god knows where?
My first guess is a ruptured heater hose?
    Any clues please?
    Many thanks.

Leaking heater core behind the dash. Keep a close watch on your coolant level until you get it fixed!

the exact same happened to me not that long ago in my 93 V8 disco. out came the dash new heater core in. not all that hard to do but takes a full day and you will need another set of hands to put the dash back in. one of those take your time things.

Agree not a hard job at all I pulled my steering wheel off after I'd tried getting dash over it for about an hour. much easier when wheel was off

Yes I read that it is a tedious job in the manual. Wheel off, bit's off here and there. In fact it seems every time I fix a problem, another appears! It never stops and I'm pretty sick of it. right now my RHF brake hose is leaking and this happened. I'm over it, I'll stick to my D4 HSE which is good and get a Jap second car ... on eBay it goes. OMG, I've been beaten. JK
