    Dropping revs at start up

Can anyone help with this one. I had the old high revs at start up a while back so I read up on here and cleaned stepper motor. Car ran much better for fair while. Then I added a bottle of liquid moly fuel system cleaner, now she starts ok but revs drop way low then sort of bouncy around a bit, sometimes starting is ok but after a while she will idle fine at lights but then drop very low revs again??
Twice last month after driving for a while, stooped to buy something, go to start and dead, no fuel getting thru. Get to pump. Remove and clean plug then away see goes again.

So I just received new parts from UK, replaced stepper motor today but low revs after starting still there. Have new pump to install on Sunday. Is there anything else I should do???

    Any advise greatly received

Are you sure you have a good stepper? YES! FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR!!! It's easy to do and can make all the difference and maybe check the vacuum thingy off the dizzy and vacuum hoses, I think most 3.9 drivers have been through all of this and even my names sake is to reflect my thoughts on the D1 ECU (d.a.d.s=dumb as dog stuff) which ultimately controls the revs, I often feel like I'm waiting for mine to realise I'm ready to go out! once I learned about all the niggles thanks to AULRO forums and developed some patience for the old girl I can honestly say I like my D1 and sometimes if I'm lucky I'll get 400 klms to a tank which makes my wrinkles curl upwards. Good luck with it and try to be patient.
