NO NEED TO SHOUT, we aint all deaf in here.
What engine's are we talking about ?, auto or manual makes no difference but a 94 could be a vee belt model where a 95 will have a serpentine belt.
If TDI then both years will be the same.

Hi Gerry
Welcome aboard to the forum.
The pulley may need to be changed over as the early 300TDi had a larger MultiVee pulley.
The use of the wrong pulley, besides the hassle of sorting the correct belt out from the VIN, does cause a different reading on the tacho.
.
94 or 95 no problem same with auto or manual but as Arthur says use the pulley of your current alt easy to get off they come off with a shock load (like an rattle gun)and if I remember correctly opp direction

I have the wrong size pulley for my 95. Only diff noticed was the tacho is off by only a little. Been that way since 2009. I bought the proper pulley but been too busy with other jobs to bother!
