    Traction control for d1?

Can the abs modul & ecu from a d2 be retrofitted to a d1 so as to get the advantage of traction control? I have all the parts, so is it possible or would I be better getting a set of Ashcroft ATB diff centres?

Last year I put a Ashcroft ATB in the rear of my D1 , I recon it's great, places where I've gone in the past with the disco doing well but spinning on the cross ups, this time just walked through with out any loss of traction at all. It was relatively easy to fit . I got mine when the dollar was close to parity for just over $500 landed in WA from lucky 8 in the USA
you will need carrier bearings though as they said after stuffing mine up they where no longer going supply with locker ...Gary
