    D1 Dash Screws what size?

Can anyone save me some trial and error and tell me what the correct size and length the 2 dash screws located just in front of the steering column that locates the bottom of the dash surround.
The manuals don't seem to say what they are.
They have obviously been missing from when I bought it a couple of years ago and just notice it so would like to rectify this problem.
    Hoping someone here can help.
    Cheers.

Whatever doesn't fall out and looks ok is pretty much the answer - they go into a speed nut made for self tappers which is located on the metal part of the dash frame. #7 or 7 Gauge self tappers will be ok. My dash surround is fairly cracked up and starting to fall to bits. To hide the cracks and reinforce, I made a plate from a piece of aluminium (12x100x3mm approx) to cover the holes, then used ordinary screws, but with click on black plastic covers you can get at the hardware store.

Is it already broken? Have a look inside the holes, they are prone to breaking the plastic and so the screws may still be in there.

My dash as per the rest of the car is in great nik as why i want the screws to make this part of the dash original. My dash does not have 1 blemish in it. I try to keep my d1 in top condition.
Thanks all I guess I will have to take a trip to the wreckers to find out what they are so I can buy some.

Would have been good if you had provided the whole question from the start. When you said trial and error I guess we figured you needed something that would work to do the job. There's no way the question could have been answered correctly otherwise. Good luck with your search.

Are you talking about the drop down access panel for the fuse box ?

If so, Microcat doesn't list them separately and I doubt if you will get them secondhand by themselves, you might have to get the whole panel.

Or are you talking about these

They are 7mm head, 5mm thread 15mm thread length.
