Discovery Series 1 300 TDI V8 Aux Sill Pair
Possibly these? they are a well built tank, too

Hi all,
I recently came into possession of a D1 with 2 saddle type long range tanks. They are located under each side, outside of the chassis rails and have separate filler necks located under the rear wheel arches. There is some electrical doodads and what appears to be a fuel pump located on the chassis rails on the inside just above the rear axle but there is no identifying names etc.
No pictures yet (dark when I get home from work currently!). Just looking for basic info, any info really on what makes they could be or even how to identify.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
Les Richmond Automotives (NSW I think) also make sill tanks for Disco 1's. Google them, they usually have good photos of most products they sell and have and excellent web site..... Just fitting a 138L tank to my D1 as we speak! It replaces the original and only hangs a fraction lower than standard which is spot on for what I like to do off road. I stumbled across it through a friend of a friend as you do and is made by long ranger tanks (same as justinc's photo link above).
Good luck with your search... supply a photo!
LRA are in Melbourne bout 10mins from home , there are a few different manufacturers of sill tanks for Rovers.

We've given up trying to find any identifying marks or branding. A bit of extra thought and research will see us replace the entire electrics and pump units (if faulty).
Could be Brown Davis tanks as well. Is there a switch for tank gauges/electric changeover valve associated with the installation?
I can't remember any distinguishing marks on the BDA tanks other than white paint markings for the tank model on a black painted tank.
