    Cool D1 Bullbar.

    Anybody out there know the going rate for a second hand steel B'bar, (if such a beast exists), to suit a D1 with mounts for a winch, TJM inform me that they no longer make bars for the D1 and that you would need to go Alloy,(maybe still one available), or custom manufacture if you wanted steel.
    I have not spoken with ARB yet but hope to talk with someone at the coming Cairns 4WD and camping show, I have been told that a new steel bar can be expensive, last one I bought new was for my 60 series Tojo in 1988, $400, rumours of 4X plus that nowadays.

    ARB told me a few days ago that a non-airbag winch bar for a D1 is (not sure) about $1500 plus fitting, & an airbag compatible bar is $1900 plus fitting. Also you can't fit a D2 bar using different mounts as they really are different bars with different part numbers (D2 airbag bar $1776 fitted)

    Have a look at ebay, there's often some on there.
    Or even someone wrecking a D1 with one on it.

    From what I hear second hand are rare as honest politicians and rocking horse poo, and oh the price of a new one oy,oy,oy!

    I've just checked on ebay.(typing Land Rover Bullbar)
    There are a few on there now.
    Non Winch, Winch, Alloy(1).
    There is one starting from $800 with no bids yet.

    Try gumtree , around the 500 mark seems to be the go. I managed to get a second hand one a couple of years ago quite easerly

    hi people . I have a arb winch bar for sale . has a tabor winch with dyneema rope on it already , was looking for $800 all up .problem is it's located in perth wa and I'm now in broken hill so anyone over there it's still for sale . wayne

    I had a non winch bar in the marketplace here not long ago. Advertised for an RRC but will bolt straight onto a D1. Asked $200 for it here - didn't get one response. Sold it on Gumtree - to a D1 owner last week.

    So, keep a look out for bars to suit Classic Range Rovers too - it may increase your chances.
