    Tdi discovery

    What is the best exhaust for a tdi 300 as I have just brought it I have replaced very thing on it from all oils ,inter cooler hoses ,filters .i was just thinking to get a little more power out of it will this help

    anything 3"

    if you're on a budget, just delete the center muffler..

    3 inch is overkill unless you're running about 30psi. Deleting mufflers can give you droning problems.

    The stock exhaust isn't your current power limiter.

    2.5" straight thru exhaust for a full new system otherwise remove the centre muffler.
    3" is unnecessary without heavy modifications such as intercooler fuel pump turbo etc

    Thanks I will maybe go for a 2.5 inch I was thinking a 3 inch maybe to big is thank you all for your input

    If you get a shop to build you a exhaust, if wouldn't cost you much more to build it in 3" over 2.5", so you might as well go 3"!

    deleting the centre muffler makes no droning, just a bit louder, but you won't notice the extra noise in a Disco.

    Everyone on here that's updated to a 3" says it's a notable increase in bottom-end and instant boost response!
