Head light Aim lifted Lifted D1

So I brought my 93 D1 around 12 months and the headlights have always been terrible.
I always assumed that the lenses must of been shot due to the age of the car.
The car has a 2' lift and 33 muddies.
It wasn't until last week that I realized the lights we actually still very bright but due to the lift and tyres they are now pointing to far down the road for me to see.
I found the adjustment left to right on the headlights but cannot get adjust them up and down to bring the beam back to where it needs to be.
Has any one else experienced this or got advice on how I can adjust them beam back to where it needs to be?

I think from memory the bolt to the outside of the light does the up and down. That's the one directly under the top mount point. The one oven by it's self does left to right.
    Cheers, David.

    Thanks Mate,
I have had that screw wound out to its max and the beam I think the beam is still to far forward.
Is it just not diagnosing it adjusting properly or is this a common problem when you lift a vehicle bigger tyres etc?

You may actually find the lights are aiming to high. Mine were after a lift. It gives the impression off poor lighting due to not shining on the road. I parked in front of my garage door and marked the lights centre. I then could see which way it was adjusting them.
    Cheers, David.
