Thread: Love to hate it !

Hi all,

So it is 14.00 Sunday afternoon and I am now 50 odd hours into my restoration of my 94 discovery 3.9 V8i ! For the first time I am starting to understand the love hate relationship land rover owners have with their vehicles. I decided at 12.00 to just change the belt on this thing then pop up for some lunch!
Wow ....... what a mission something so simple fast turn into!
I am 100 kg and no slouch on the tools but I have never had to turn myself inside out so much on a tensioner to get something so simple on !

I am now understanding why my fellow forum peeps love to hate them so much.

Yep i know what you mean little jobs can turn into a big horse's ass really quick on a Land Rover,if you want a weekend of goodtimes change the heater matrix
