I agree! Did the same on my Puma
That's right,
After repetitive indicating with wipers on wife's car, and indicating to the left when it starts raining on my disco........
got sick of it and swung it around, indicators on the right, wipers on the left. The way it should be!!!!
It's a bit fiddly, but doable.
I know crucifiction is following, but I didn't take photos.
Can describe in detail if anyone interested.
Did indicators canceling ring at the same time
Again, convinced why it's called "Discovery"....you keep discovering these little problems and fixes as you go along.....

Britain used to be the same as us as did Japan. Not sure about South Africa (and most other places in the British Commonwealth).

Interestingly, with all the cars and trucks I have, the only one with the indicators on the left is the Australian built Perentie.
Stupid thing is my 81 RRC that was aus assembled had the indicator on the right but 85 RRC was on left, i dont see whats so hard about keeping it on the right.
On the 85 i switched the stalks around so it was also on the right, only downside was wiper stalk moved upwards to activate wipers.
The cars i drove in South Africa had it on the right also.

Move to Qld , Take the stalk off and chuck it. No whingeing about which side then.
You get used to it, who changes all their gear patterns in different cars to be the same or makes them all floor shift or all column , or all auto or all manual.
I think I posted this before but I recall hearing from GMH that they didn't change the blinker switch from the left to the right on a Brit car (may have been an Astra) because it would have cost $500K to engineer it.![]()

Holden Astra, Barina and Combo van all have them on the left.
