    Extra Fuse Box

Looking at putting in an extra fuse box to power a few things.

On the fuse box under the dash on drivers side there are three male spade terminal outlets, one in the middle and two on the rhs. They seem to be all switched by the ignition.

Does anyone know if this is their purpose, to provide for aux power and how many amps they are rated at ?

    John,

I'm not sure of their limits but I know the ones that you're referring to. I looked through Rave and a Haynes manual and couldn't find anything about them but it then I wasn't sure what they would have been called exactly and so I could have missed it . I didn't look in the owner's manual but I probably should have in hindsight.

I ended up using one connector and placing an in-line fuse to run the Engine Saver which wouldn't draw much power. An easy solution for switched power.

I ended up putting two extra fuse box's under the bonnet, one of the main battery, the other off the aux battery. Wired the extras up to there as required..
