    D1 V8 auto cooler into a D1 tdi auto

    I know this has probably been asked before but has anyone used a D1 V8 auto trans cooler in a D1 tdi auto, and if they have did you have any trans overheating problems.

    They are most likely the same size so i dont see any benefits if they are.

    The auto cooler on our tdi split and the only one second hand I have been able to source is off a v8 which is of a different style and mounts differently in the front of the vehicle, I checked another v8 parked next to the one I removed and it was the same as the one on the other v8. While it fits in neatly I'm just a bit worried that the cooler off the v8 may flow too quickly.

    Ive been told to use cooler from a p38.Thats what ill be using on my rrc 300tdi conversion.
