    D1 ES sunroof not closing

    Hi all
Ran a quick search on this 'Pinnacle' and nothing came up, so does anyone have any suggestions on closing a factory electric sunroof on an ES?

The roof tilts, slides open, returns to the 'closed but tilted' position but won't sit back down into the roof. Does this indicate the motor or control box? Is there a manual override to enable closing?

I haven't tried the rear one yet as I've yet to pull the PO's tape off it. Car is a resto project because you just can't have enough projects can you?
    TIA

G'day mate,i had the same drama with the front also. What i ended up doing was pulling the roof liner down around the sunroof and i found that it had come out of the cassette.Pop it back in the cassette give it a spray with some silicon spray and it should be all good.

It never hurts to check the drain hole while your fooling around up there either.

Thanks Disco Man, I'll check that out and I have a can silicone spray handy...fortunately (or not), the head lining is already coming away as the PO did not close either properly - both were taped shut when we picked it up...but I just had to try one, lol.
    Cheers
