D1 and Bridgestone Dueller HT 205 R16C Tyres

    Hi all,

I was looking to see if anyone is running a set of Bridgestone Dueller HT 205 R16C Tyres as around town tyres. I will get a set of mud tyres for when I go north and off road next year but I just want a good road tyre for around town and highway travel. Any advise would be appreciated.
    Cheers
    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

I have a set, but in 235/70/16 sizing. They came with the car and so far after 65,000km I have been pretty happy with them. On the road they are not loud, have got good grip in the wet and track well. They are fairly ok in the sand too which is a bonus. I have found them to be a very good road tyre for my current usage of mixed highway/town/dune driving and light track work. Will be looking for a set of D697 L/T A/T's when they finally wear out to better suit the driving I am starting to do. For what you are after, they sound ideal.

I'm running 245/70/16 AT 111s 694 on our D1 300TDI Auto and am very happy good in both dry and wet tarmac, and good for what off road we do, I have 2 getting down below 40% so will replace them with new of the same, our RRC runs Michies, and Nexan but it does all highway.

    cheers

On the V8i i run 245,70 and found they are a good tyre, would recommend them in a heart beat. As others have posted good all rounder at a fraction of the price of Cooper(rip off) and Mickey tompson(also a rip off) hope this helps.
