1993 Discovery 1 Pre update Dual Brake lines

    Hi all.

i have recently come across both front and Rear full Disc to Disc assemblies from a 1996 D1 which is 24 spline, i am going to rebuild them completely, then i plan on swapping them both out for the 10 spline ones mine currently has, from reading on here they are identical except for the from brake lines, has anyone ever done a dual to single brake line conversion and if so what is involved

    Thanks

that was the original plan, however i believe that the later models went to Ventilated discs which are thicker so the earlier calipers wont fit

I may be wrong looked in the catalogue and it lists two front rotors for disco1 and ones vented but in saying that our catalogue is full of holes guess wait till the rock up and take some measurements but either way your rotors and discs should swap over.

There are spacer kits available to widen standard calipers to fit vented discs. I got a set years ago from TRS in Adelaide.

Could as 460 said the discs be swapped save splitting the calipers or are they totally different
