I tend to find downward travel is more important than up travel

I think i would have a short list and put the money aside, then keep you eye out for good second hand buys.
I picked up a arb locker in a rebuild diff center for $500 when i blew my rear diff, and didn't have to pay for the install.
There are bargins out there just be patient.
