    Dual Battery Installation

Looking at putting a second battery in my 95 Disco v8 soon. Have been looking at fitting a battery tray where the windscreen washer is and putting an aftermarket windscreen washer near the ps reservoir.

Main reason I'm going down this route is that it might be better than relocating the coil and ps reservoir to fit the battery in front of the airbox which will still be a tight fit.

I've done some rough measurements and it should fit even though I might have to mount it on its side. It's going to be an Optima Yellow Top d34 so that shouldn't be a problem.

Has anyone done this or similar and do you have any pics, especially of any brackets you fabbed up for the job.

I think the engine bay at the front would be a lot cooler than the back, batteries of any kind don't like heat, Regards Frank.

Shifting the power steering reservoir to the other side is very easy.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
