Hi tomalophicon
Are your King Springs the 100kg as shown in the Ebay ad above?

To be honest mate I don't actually remember.
They were the softest ones Suspension Stuff could supply though.
I can get a part number in the morning if they are still visible.
Tom.

I should also note that I have 25mm raised heavy duty King Springs in my Disco because I am running a steel roof rack, rear drawers, dual batteries and a 10k winch. All this weight drops it down to close to factory height and I have had no problems following my mate with a Disco with no other accessories other than a 50mm spring lift and that includes through the High Country. Cheers, John.

Progressively needed.

Discofever. Thank you John. My D1 is very stock standard at the moment, but I have bought a second one for parts. Eg. Bullbar, snorkel etc. I will also be looking out for a full length roof rack etc etc. So eventually the spring lift I am looking at will be needed as I progress and turn it into more of a beast than it already is. Have a good day mate. See ya - Gerry (wedgetail37)

hey wedgetail, not sure if you've bought a kit yet or not,
just thought i'd let you know how I went, I put a kit on from dobinsons in August. Medium rate load. It's great for towing and loaded up with 2 kids and all the stuff for camping. But it's pretty firm driving unloaded. I'd definitely avoid a heavy constant load. Id stick to the normal rate load unless your towing all the time.

I've had an ARB (just under 2") lift kit for about 19 years under my old girl, was a very very good investment.
I will do it again as it is tired but go to a full 2", and a 2" body lift. Both will be from Les Richmond, because as SSmith said "they have sorted out all the problems"
