    Superpro bushes

    Hi All
I have a 1997 Disco 300tdi with 2" lift. I am wanting to replace bushes and am thinking superpro.
The superpro website has two bush kits for front and rear.
    - KIT043AK
    - KIT043AADJK (this has caster correction and I don't know if I need this)

Which kit is the right one ?
    Cheers

    Question

There are 3 different grades/colours for these bushes are there not?
Can someone explain the differences & which ones I would need if I simply wanted to tighten up the suspension on our Defender 90 in combination with some Bilsteins, if indeed I would need bushes at all, as I would not be impressed with any more vibration/noise etc being transferred into the cabin.

That is a myth. There is no consistent grade/hardness info you can get from the colour. Manufacturers can put in any colour dye they want. All super pro bushes are blue/purple but the hardness varies depending on the application.

    Thanks, I diddn't know that.
There are other bushes,UK made, that do have different colours.
So, having said that, what grade would I need, for the application I mentioned, & what increase in harshness would I notice?

Only buy SuperPro (you get no choice over hardness - they make them as soft as they can be for the application). The UK ones are too hard usually.

I didn't notice any increase in "harshness" on my 110.

EDIT - AFAIK superpro may offer some stiffer bushes but they are the same colour and only intended for race/rally applications.

I'm running regular Super Pro bushes throughout my Deefers suspension and there is absolutely no suspension related NVH issue. There are countless cases of people on this forum confusing Super Pro bushes with harder poly type bushes and the NVH issues that they create. It's not the case.

I'd stick with your stock rubber bushes until they are worn and then change to Super Pro. I'm going to guess that there would be a minimal difference in feel between new stock rubber bushes and Super Pro bushes but the Super Pro will last a lot longer.
