Well, after changing the Rear & then the Front Diff oils, I noticed a drop of coolant on the ground.... Spent the next 30mins or so trying to determine where it had come from. It was dripping of the bottom of the Serpentine (Alt) Belt. I could a slight coolant mark around where the Water Pump bolts to the Block.... I started to get concerned, so I pulled off the Fan and got a mirror down in there and found where it was coming from.... It looks like from the under the top radiator hose + a small weep from the bypass hose.... well, that's what I'm hoping for as I've order a complete Cooling Hose Kit....

What's best to use to clean up the surface b4 installing the new hoses?
Any tricks that I need to know about b4 I start replacing the hoses?
thanks in advance.....
Rob
A wire brush will clean up the fittings.
make sure the 3 way connector with the 3 small hoses connected to it is clean and clear while your at it.
The leak you described could also be the P gasket.
i bought a silicone hose set. all in blue at the same time as i bought intercooler hose set in red. got mine from dph sport. reasonable prices and the product looks good quality. they have lifetime guarantee. after i finish my clutch replacement i will do a full cooling system hose, thermo, water change. i am gona pull out radiator and IC and clean them out too. last camping trip got a few scares when gauge was jumping up so i want to make sure cooling system is in tip top. i would have sent you link to the hoses i got but guess too late now.
P Gasket is fairly easy to do although a bit fiddly.
If you wanted to bring it down my way sometime, I could give you a hand to sort it out.
If you do the P gasket skip the gasket and just use silicone. I did mine this way probably seven to eight years ago and it is still fine.
i've recently overhauled all of my cooling system.
one hose in particular 'Expansion Tank 3 Way Bleed Hose(PCH117840)', lasted 3 weeks, before leaking at the junction.
Have since bought Genuine replacement. More costly yes, but better than a stuffed engine.
