I'm running 265/75/16 with a sagged 2in lift and a guard chop. Prior to that I had 235/85/16 which were the same diameter and to be honest a better size. I think the 265's are to wide and are harder on steering etc. the 235/85 was a really good fit.
What's the largest diameter tyre I can fit to D1 without body lift.. I thought it was 245/75/16 but maybe its 245/70/16.
Thanks

245/75 R16 will fit fine without body lift but you will probably need a slight camel cut at the rear and maybe need to adjust the steering stops.
Do a search on 'D1 tyre size' or the like - this is a well discussed topic.
Body lift or spring lift, 2 different methods.
You can fit 32's without a body lift.

If you go to 32's also consider the effect on your gearing. I've fitted 4.11 Ashcroft diff gears to account for it, I should be running 33's to get back to standard gearing but all 33's are just to wide.

Some mods, but high range is standard ratio.
Not sure, I tend to only look at tacho if it sounds like i need to - its not a daily driver anymore either.

I only have a 2" lift at the moment. I'm Happy to hack the guards so will 255/85/16's fit and get full articulation? I will be adding flares shortly if i can find somewhere that is cheap enough.
