ah okay well as long as I'm not the only one. I think i would rather extent the stops to a point where it just doesn't rub so it wont cause damage anywhere in the extreme cases. I had a look at the bump stops and it looks like i can modify them quite easily to suit the distance and it dosnt look like it will reduce the flex a great deal.

Ill just have to be carefull with what i do.

But Simon is running 35's so i would expect them to touch somewhere , my lift is 3" and even before flares i have never had a tyre touch bodywork.

If you get a chance could you measure your rear springs just at rest on flat ground please, just so i can see the difference between a 2" and 3" as well as confirming that mine is in fact a 2" lift. When they where rubbing the stops looked to still be about 1" away from the axle. Something isn't right.

Im also running 16x8 -25mm offset with 265/75/16 General Grabber MT's. Perhaps the MT's are just a bit to big and are rubbing.

Really i see my only solutions to be:
    1 - Extend suspension stops.
2 - Bigger lift. Be it coil spacers, body lift or a bigger suspension lift (and hope that it makes a difference)
3- Get the hammer and grinder out and hope for the best.

So i took it out again and the front rub also. I got some numbers of the Springs and ill try to find out somewhere and see if they are in fact a 2" lift.

Without having to spend another weekend moving flares and cutting more i might start looking at a 1" body lift possibly.

Did you have to modify anything for you 3" lift loanrangie?

Now that is odd. Fronts at that size should be ok. Where are they rubbing?

A 2" lift should be about 90mm front and 110mm rear off the bump stops.

Gotta love LR design tolerances, 1person has no probs the next big dramas.

They rub at the top of the flare on the front. Looks like if i move it higher it may not rub just more work i have to do i guess.

When its light out and once i finish work tomorrow ill measure the distances and see what its like.

So looked up the specs on the springs through there website. It states:
    - Coil Springs (Front) TDC505 x 2 - Front Lift: 30mm
    - Coil Springs (Rear) TDC518 x 2 - Rear Lift: 30mm

Bugger. They don't have any kit listed for a Heavy Duty either which is annoying. Ill have to look into some Heavy Duty 50mm springs possibly.
