So i just recently did a 2" lift on my 1998 discovery and want to put some nice big tyres on it. First i want to put some flares on but i can only find them for about $700 in Australia. Does anyone know anywhere were i can get them for cheap or import them?
Once i get the flares on will 255/85/16's fit?
Thank for your help.

Postage from flatdog for flares to Australia is like $300 AUD, still heaps of money unfortunately. Can you recommend some good rims and where to get them? I don't quite understand the offset i need and how to find out that with some brands.
See if you can get a group buy going ,hard to go past dynamic 16*7 or 16*8 in 0 or neg 25 offset.
The 255's will fit on stock rims without flares.

How much work is it to get 255s on the stock alloys to fit on? What's involved. Sorry for so many question. I just don't want to drop $1500 on tyres only to find they don't fit.
No this is my everyday driver so I don't want to go crazy I still want it to be nice in the road. 255/85/16's are a 33" wheel I thought that more would be involved with fitment then just a camel cut?
Would a 16x8 5x165.10 et 0 rim fit the 255/85/16s in with just chopped guards? And get no rubbing anywhere once guards are suited and steering stops adjusted?
33" normally requires a body lift to be looked at.
Have a look as Les Richmond Automotive. They have a page with modifying tips and give you a run down on suspension & body lifts, wheel offsets etc. to suit certain size tyres.
