That's what I thought you meant, so im back to square one, I believe the CDL is stuck on even though the light is out, I have tried everything to grt it unstuck, engaging, disengaging, both on move and stopped, tried reversing for a distsnce and still no luck

yep i will do that, in the event someting is stuck is there a way to free it up if it is just wound up that far, by raising all 4 wheels and running it somehow, im kinda grasping at straws here as i don't want to replace the TC if i dont have to.
under some circumstances yes, especially a tight turn under power.
With the front wheels resisting the turn due to the jammed up front diff the inside wheel will he holding back the outside wheel. the dirve line is trying to put power down evenly but its got resistance on the front so it will bias the power to the rear end which then transfers power to the wheel with the least resistance which in this case is the inside rear wheel which is being unweighted by the turn.
if you then add in the effect of having the front wheels locked together trying to straighten the vehicle up if the front side traction exceeds the rear end traction the vehicle will try to step around and out to line up the front wheels again.
the unmentioned symptom if this is that the front wheels will also be scrubbing but you may not notice it if you're to busy trying to sort out the rear.

Ok first plan is to get the front up and check the front drive shaft spins by hand then ill go from there.

Ok jacked up both front wheels, handbrake on and auto in nuetral, got under and could not turn the front drive shaft, turned each wheel and the otger one wrnt opposite, so the tc is locked, while I was moving the driveshaft back and forth it sounded awfully rattlely, so here is a Newby question, if the TC had no oil in it or it was low would it cause it to stay in the locked position even though the selector is in unlocked position, I will admit I have not checked the oil in it since I have had it about 2 months

you need to put the tcase in neutral not the gearbox/auto. it doesnt happen often but sometimes the main box will have enough drag to cause the same problem, not helpful in your case because it still means the case has to come off to do the repair.
but with the info youve provided, its not the CDL its the diff itself.

easy the locking mechnism is working, the diff itself is stuffed.
if the diff is stuffed the bearings are stuffed time to rebuild or replace the Tcase.
I edited the post before you posted to reflect some other info,
