    Radiator and intercooler mod

Hi this is my first post, I bought a 98 D1 300tdi about 6 months ago. I've decided to put a bigger radiator and intercooler on it so I bought a bigger rad from Ali sport, and a bigger IC from ASI performance. I tried fitting them yesterday but had trouble getting them to fit. I removed the radiator support completely managed to squeeze them next to each other but couldn't find a way to secure them. Has anyone done anything like this before and could guide me in the right direction? Or show me pics of there's? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If "asi" is one of those China ebay jobs. Send it back and tell them to bugger off. There's 3 ebay stores with very similar stuff for sale and really dodgy feedback its all suss. Just like the stuff they sell. I bought an alloy radiator which was about 15mm too high. I did get my money back, and decided to do it properly and had my existing rad re-cored. Where or how is yours not fitting ? I'd only buy local or from the uk specialists for stuff like this.
This is what i was presented with upon install -https://www.dropbox.com/s/eryemzax8t...e.jpg'dl=0

There was some recent discussion on the Aulro FB page regarding the mod's required to get the Alisport intercooler to fit, maybe similar for the unit you have.
You could ask the members who have already done this.

From the pic's it looks like the intercooler sit's to high so some grinding of the frame is required to get it to fit.
