    What model D1

    Son picked up a late 93 pre update 200tdi D1.It has rubber wheel arch mouldings,body mouldings,electric windows and mirrors.Was this an up spec model,a runout special or did someone just tick some option boxes?5 speed manual.

    I have a pre update (Sep 91 build 3.5 LT77) with factory flares. I did not think it was anything special and I have never seen a Disco without electric mirrors and windows.

    Most of the early ones i've seen had manual windows,but i havn't seen them all.

    The PO kept the rack and I have since replaced the front with an update version and fitted a bar that does not weigh 200kg.
